About the author…

Semir Ajsic is an aspiring entrepreneur and a small business owner from Charlotte, NC currently pursuing post-graduate education in Innovation, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship at Western Carolina University (WCU).

Over the past 14 years, Semir has gained substantial experience in healthcare IT and project management, primarily in the medical laboratory market. The primary focus of MedXpress IT Solutions, the consulting business Semir runs since 2017, is to provide guidance and leadership to small and medium-sized healthcare providers (private sector) with acquisition, process development, training, and project management.

Semir is a strong believer that hard work and critical thinking produces positive results, hence the idea behind the blog headline.

Outside of busy work life, Semir enjoys running, jogging and an occasional soccer game with friends, and spending quality time with his wife and two kids. Some of the fun family activities include fishing, exploring nature, and gardening.

    I believe you need to work smart while working hard. Look at Bill Gates while at Microsoft where he stated he would “hire a lazy person to do a difficult job,” I believe he felt “a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.” 1
